Emily’s heartwarming adoption story of Pip.
“I adopted my dog Pip when she was a year old. She was very underweight, terrified of men, chased cars, constantly raided the bin and stole any food that she could find. For the first few months I wondered what on earth I had done. But as this little Border Collie x settled and gained confidence, she became the most loyal, adoring and intelligent companion I could wish for. She is now nearly nine years old, and has been on road trips with me around Europe, camped in Scotland and has moved to Laos with me. She is now impeccably behaved – I use her as a demo dog for my work as a dog trainer, and she is a regular at all my local pubs and restaurants. If you are prepared to put the time in, a rescue dog will repay you a hundred times over!”
